
Making Blokz® Blue Light Blockers the Eyewear Solution for Gaming & Esports
As Zenni looked to expand beyond affordable prescription eyewear, the brand saw a major opportunity in the fast-growing esports and gaming space, especially through its proprietary Blokz® Blue Light Blocker lens technology. But entering this competitive arena required a new identity, a new audience strategy, and authentic partnerships. HangarFour, in collaboration with DKC, developed the Zenni Gaming brand from the ground up, creating its name, logo, and digital presence, including dedicated Instagram and Twitter channels tailored to the gaming community.
As the agency of record, we launched a robust influencer program and built strategic partnerships with top esports teams like the Golden Guardians, Houston Outlaws, and Pittsburgh Knights. We also led the collaboration with Call of Duty legend, Clayster to develop a custom Zenni eyewear collection. Now the official eyewear sponsor of the Call of Duty Team, Zenni’s branding lives across 12 teams in 3 countries, cementing its place as a rising power in the gaming world.
