
Bringing Empathy into the Workplace: Creating a Soundtrack of Empathy with Indeed to Celebrate Pride
Pride is a moment to celebrate authenticity, empathy, and inclusion, not just within the LGBTQIA+ community, but across workplaces around the world. To create a campaign rooted in that meaning, Indeed tapped HangarFour to craft a unifying movement that would resonate far beyond a single moment in time. The challenge was music to our ears. We developed The Soundtrack of Empathy, a multi-platform campaign centered on the universal power of music. At its core was a curated, live-streamed concert by pop star MIKA,
supported by influencer content, social storytelling, and a partnership with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. We invited audiences to share personal stories, build empathy playlists, and join a broader conversation around identity, pronouns, and allyship in the workplace. The result? A campaign that garnered 5 total Shorty Impact, and Viddy Awards across multiple categories. It surpassed engagement benchmarks and became one of the most celebrated and emotionally resonant Pride activations of the year.
